Instrumentation Automation Surveillance & Communication Sector Skill Council is a Section 8 Company of the Companies Act, 2013, Not for Profit Organization, responsible for developing Indian Skill ecosystem for Instrumentation, Automation, Surveillance & Communication Sectors. It is under the Administrative Control of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India. Instrumentation Automation Surveillance & Communication Sector Skill Council’s mandate is to certify 5 million skilled workforces by 2025.
The broad functions of the Council are given below:
- To get QP and NOS developed.
- To identify Skill Gaps in IASC Sector.
- Development of Content.
- Selecting Training Partners and Assessors.
- Interface with the Industries and other related functions.
- Training of Trainers, Training of Assessors and Certification.

Job Description :
- Responsible for the delivery of the overall operational metrics & sales targets.
- Coordination with existing training partners and assessment agency and handling their day to day issues .
- Affiliation of Training partners and assessors , renewal or new affiliation.
- Training delivery management pan India basis.
- Training Operation management including total implementation of process & systems in the council
- To ensure that all trainings are rolled out within the specified time frames and follow ups/ completions are recorded as per plan
- Strategic thinker with who is able to blend technology and business strategy to develop compelling plans for new partner initiatives to create successful customers
- Proven track record of achieving targets, leading and motivating teams.
- Ensure all conversations, decisions, commitments and scope changes are documented and shared with all appropriate.
- Ensure that all stakeholders fully understand their tasks, deliverables, and dependencies around their work streams.
- Manage & develop the operational client relationships by conducting review meetings.
- Periodic submission of MIS on operation to CEO.
Experience: Person with experience in skilling ecosystem/Education Sector/Vocational EducationSector skill council is desirable. Having good communication and organizational skill with 7-8 years experience.

Job Description :
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- Aggressively work on Industry connect plan.
- Managing Industry Engagement.
- Engagement with state skill development mission and generate training business
- Identifying & Making Proposals for Grant and Funding-CSR & Fee Based.
- Undertaking Business Development activities.
- Branding of IASC SSC . Communication & Advocacy to target audience.
- Work closely with Digital Marketing team for content development , website management , Social media feed etc.
- Ensuring database of all regulatory bodies, Industry bodies and service providers dealing in skill development/vocational education.
- Following events/conferences on skilling related subjects and ensuring participation opportunities for IASC SSC
- Periodic engagement plan execution with Industry and state missions.
- Responsible for on boarding new Industry partners.
- Organize Events, seminars, workshops etc.
- Ensure demand Aggregation targets are periodically updated and exponentially increased.
- Facilitate Job placements for certified trainees along with other departments and Monitor the gap between certified trainees and placements and equalize the gap.
- Engagement with DSCs
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of Working Experience in Marketing &skill Development Sector.
- Post Graduate in Marketing .
- In depth Experience in India’s Skill Ecosystem and understanding of Vocational Education Training, School Education etc.
- Should have high proficiency in & understanding MIS, Microsoft office.
- Excellent Written and Spoken English.
- Knowledge of a regional language, would be an added advantage.

Job Description :
- Identify emerging job Roles for this sector &plan development of QPs.
- Upgrading the existing QP with advancement in technologies in the related field.
- Responsible for all aspects of training relating to skill gaps, standards and labor market information / systems, syllabus/content, Modules/Modification of QS/Validation of Content.
- Ensure QP validation and approval through necessary process and its inclusion in NQR and SIP portal.
MIS - Monitoring and Evaluation - Projects, Reports, Operations, Analysis & Remediation.
- Developing & Monitoring - SOP's, Process Tracking, Project Tracking (Developing an annual statement giving direction to training processes/Training Models and Pedagogical Methods - Ensure that all training processes, protocols and manuals are in place. Fine tune quality procedure to continuously improve content, quality of training content by audit Evaluation and Certification of Centres).
- Due Diligence & Evaluation - Ensure selection of service providers for developing the curricula and course content .Oversee the selection of suitable training providers and assessment bodies accredited to IASC SSC and audit their performance).
- Standards and Guidelines for Apprenticeship / NAPS courses eg: OJT / Optional Trades
Qualification: Post Graduate (Preferably MBA) from a reputed University.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in Standards & Assurance, Preferably from Skilling Ecosystem.Person with experience in skilling ecosystem/Education Sector/Vocational Education/Sector skill council is desirable.

- Must have strong writing capabilities for all Social Media, Blogs, Articles, White paper, Website- with fluency in Business language oriented Content development.
- Expertise with content dissemination based on channels of communication.
- Develop collaterals for cross functional use– Campaigns, Presentation, Event Communications, Business Promotional Material, Newsletters, Research Reports, White papers, Blogs, Vlogs
- Improve SEO ranking
- Good command on Website development & SEO based Content Management

- Coordination with sales team for location branding and marketing support.
